Trying To Contact BT

I have spent most of the day trying to get throught to BT to make a change to three lines i have in my office and have been kept on hold so long that my phone has run out of charge. I then tried live assistance to be told I would have to wait 14:33 but been on that system now since 16:13 and its now 17:00 what is going on. How do you contact BT quickly so that I can get on with my work.

Re: Trying To Contact BT

David,

The best way I have found to contact them is through a BT local Business Provider or if you are with BT one plan there one plan team number is 0800 032 8751 or the order team number is 0800 777 666.

Hope some of these help you, I know we only moved 100 yards and had 10 BT vans outside. Its laughable

Re: Trying To Contact BT

BT Local Business - don't make me laugh.   They are one of BT's big mistakes - outsourcing small business management.

I phoned mine 4 weeks ago,  well over 10 times and they have NEVER responded. They even cut me off several times when on hold.

A formal complaint has been made and I am awaiting the outcome

Re: Trying To Contact BT

we put in our order for business lines to be transferred back in january....still nothing. Ive logged a complaint with OFTEL and my local office. Given up. wasted hours and hours every working day trying to get through. BT are the worst company in the world. Never ever ever again.......x

Re: Trying To Contact BT

looks like I am in the right place as it appears everyone has the same problem trying to get through to BT. I have tried to change soem details on my old BT Business account - been put on hold, passed around different groups so many times it is unbelievable  - BT Customer service is the worst I have ever ever experienced.

I have requested help - complained on line and just got nowhere - no people skills or caring at all. I am writing to the Chief Executive tomorrow

Trying To Contact BT

I have tried contacting BT several times now. I have logged onto chat asistance but to no avail. I am told I am number 1 in the queue and that the average time to wait would be 00:19 or something similar each time. Unfortunately, being number one does not hold for much as you can wait all day and still not get to chat with anyone. I have emailed through the website and today I received an email confirming that my query would be dealt with. The website stated that a response whould be received within 35 mins. Well, the day has passed and no email has been received.

i am not sure why BT have a business customer service if they do not provide a service to business customers.
