I have just upgraded to Windows 7 64-bit operating system and I am trying to find out whether the BT Office Communicator spoftware application will run in this environment.

Some people suggest that it will, others that it won't.  If it doesn't, does anyone know if and when the Communicator will be updated to run under 64-bit, or if there is another softphone option that can be used in the meantime?

We are currently tested the new updated version of BTOC which supports windows 7, if all the tests are successful then the launch date will be around 10/03/11

This date can change if any issues occur.

Thanks for the information, that's good news.  Can you confirm that your tests also include the 64-bit Windows 7 platform?

The information I have been provided is the tests have been successful and the latest version of BTOC should be released next week if no issues with the launch and if any issues occur it can take up to 1month, I will update this post on the day of the release.
