adding message boards

hi all

me again!

ok, so ive search everywhere on this forum but think i might have missed what im looking for. i would like to add a message board onto my site for people to leave comments but am not sure how. i have added a web form (text box) and once people submit their comments it emails me which is fine but how do the comments stay on the page for others to see?

does that make sense?

You could use the Guestbook facililty which you can find in the website centre under Site Builders > Plugin Scripts > Guestbook

It's pretty basic but will allow people to leave a comment which will then be displayed for others to view.

However, doing this is probably asking for your site to end up covered with links to dodgy pharmacies, etc.

I do not believe it is possible to remove messages left on Matt Wrights Guestbook. You may want to try Easy Blog Builder, people would have to sign up to leave posts which would probably resolve the issue Dave mentioned of having lots of adverts left and you can moderate all posts left on it. Your other option would be to create a forum but this is not supported by BT.
