Google Webmaster tools and e-shop verification

Hi,

I know from looking at other forum posts that there were plans to develop this so that we could verify our e-shop with Google.

Does anyone know when this will become available ?

Hi Paula,

This is available now, if you go to "settings > general settings > advanced settings" you will see a box titled "HTML Head area", here you can paste your verify tag from Google Webmaster Tools.

If I do this, do you think this will 'encourage' Google to visit my site again ?

I've been having reoccurring problems with my website...ie if you do a search for www.kittyandpolly.co.uk, it comes back with two different shops that also happen to use e-pages (eg Bath Online shop, Science Sleuth).

So my website has disappeared from Google for my keywords and one of these shops appears where I would be.

In fact, these shops appear for lots of other e-pages shops as well.

Hi there

I am having the same issues as Kitty and Polly above! where my site used to rank high now it doesnt and have been told that there is an issue with the epage servers and google! - anyone have any idea whats going on?
