I have just published a new site from EasySiteWizard and the URL is horrendous

http://home2.btconnect.com/Site.co.uk instead of www.site.co.uk as I expected. When I enter what I want I see a page which says "Site under Construction with my details. Any ideas about what is happening?

The address that you are referring to is the address of the free webspace that comes with all account. How you proceed depends on whether you have paid for hosting or not.

Can you advise if you have paid for a hosting package or only a domain name?

Hi,

I have checked this and it appears you are using the free BT Webspace, therefore you will not have your own dedicated domain name. To get a website built on your own domain name, or get a domain name for free, you need to purchase the £5 hosting package from BT.

Lisa
