how do i get php bb3 file to work in my ftp dictionary?

I have a BT advanced package and I have followed the print out provided by BT to do the above but think i am doing something wrong, can someone explain in simple terms how to do this? thanx

Hi,

I"m not sure what you mean. Are you trying to have a php bulletin board inside your ftp directory?

sorry took so long getting back to you, ive got a lot to learn and take in as being a newbie! lol thanks for your response. I was trying to put a forum on my site with the php bb3 file, i followed what it told me to do and then put the address in my bar to follow to install it but then a link appears saying oops appeared broke. when i access my ftp through my windows explorer i k=now have 3 folders showing php bb3 and i can't delete them so i can start again! any help would be appriciated, and on the note of the bulletin board, i do want one of them how do you does this?! does this mean it works automatically? i do have a few problems but will leave it there for now! lol thanks

This might be due to the location of the files, have you placed them into your public folder so that they are accessible online?
