Hi,

Having difficulty accessing my site via ftp. Can see the root if I use the 'Access FTP' link in the BT Website Centre, but if I try to open a directory or open in Windows Explorer, I get either an 550 error (no such file or directory) or "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage".

I need to be able to upload files (and so do less technical people) so I am keen to find way that does not involve command lines.

I've had no response to the support request I raised with BT.

Any help gratefully receievd as I have been trying to do this during my toddler's naps for weeks.

Thanks,

Anna

Hi Anna

When you open the window, right click and then point to Login. You should be able to see a box that lets you put in login details username and password--this should then allow you to see your directories and simply cut and paste into the correct directory--usually public/site directory.Hope this helps
