Hi Mel,

If I understand correctly you have a domain name attached to one of our hosting packs and wish to change the domain the hosting pack is attached to.

Unfortunately, there is no process to transfer the domain which is attached to the hosting to another as they are permanently assigned.

However, a workaround would be to order a new IBP (hosting pack) attach the new domain name to that (which will again be permanently assigned and is non-transferable).

As long as you have a copy of the files which make up the website available, you can upload them to the new domain/hosting pack and have the website show on the new domain.

When this is done, and you are satisfied it is all working, we can then cease the old hosting pack which you no longer need.

If you need any further assistance, please get back to me.

Thanks

Colin

Hi,

I have an existing domain name attached to a BT url and urgently want to change this to reflect a change in business. I'm unable to find anyway to remove the existing name and replace the new one. Does anyone know how to do this? Thank you.
