Domain Records Reverted

Hello everyone.

I changed 2 of our domains last week in the Doman Manager section of the BT site. I altered their A records as we've moved their website to another server. It took about a day to replicate, no problems there.

Today I get an email from the client, the website is down. I check pinging the domain names and somehow they had reverted back to the IP addresses that they used to be.

Does anyone have any ideas what could have happened here as I need to make sure it doesn't happen again.

I definitely saved them as the site worked on the old system, I was looking at it and developing it for a couple of days.

I must have done something wrong, so if anyone could tell me what that is I'd be more than grateful.

Sounds like a system error. I would fill out the A records repoint request form at dnsforms.co.uk with the details you have outlined and the domain name server desk will be able to sort the problem.
