Transferring Domains to BT

Hi,

Was just wondering if there is anything I can do to get a number of domains transferred to my BT account. The problem I have is that the current Registrar is not responding to my requests for IPS Tag changes (for .co.uk addresses) and AuthInfo code requests (for the .com addresses).

The other issue I have is that the administrative contacts for the domains are all set to no-spam@nameofregistrar.com so I don't recieve any of the emails directed here.

Is there anything BT can do to get the domains transferred?

You will need to contact the Hosts registrar to get the host to release the domains for transfer.

this is the equivelant of telling ofcom on your ISP.

unfortunately having not had to go down that road (my host is BT) i dont know how to contact the registrar (think thats the right terminology)

For the .co.uk domains, you can contact Nominet who will change the IPS tag for a small fee. For .com domains, the governing body is icann, although I am not sure if they offer a similar service.
