external domain, cant configure BT end

Hi I have an external domain i have had A records changed to BT ones and also entered it in the Configure an externally hosted domain name field box but now its saying pending approval but i have to change the Mx records but i dont wnat to do that. But still cant seem to aprove it! how can i with out changing the Mx records.

Is this being configured in a BT control panel? If not it may be something proprietary to the company that you registered the domain name with. I would recommened contacting the Customer Service department of the Domain Name Regristar to see if there are any additional settings required.
