Hi Mickeyb

In order to re record the auto attendant greeting you would need to:

Press the program key on the main programming extension (20 by default)
Scroll down to system programming
Enter the system password
Select system
Select change greetings
Select auto attendant day
Press record greeting and follow through the instructions.

You would then need to alter which phones ring for each option. There are 20 ring groups on the system and with the auto attendant enabled option 1 will ring group 20, option 2 will ring group 19, option 3 will ring group 18 and so on.

To change the extensions in each group you would need to:
Press the program key on the main programming extension (20 by default)
Scroll down to system programming
Enter the system password
Select Lines
Select Group Programming
Select the required group (eg 20)
Select Ring group (all phones ring at same time) or hunt group (phones ring one at a time in order)
You can then press the button next to each extension so that the diamond is either empty (not in the group so wont ring) or filled in (in the group so will ring)

Also it should be noted that the system software would need to be at least version 494 in order to use the single digit keying (i.e 1,2,3 etc) otherwise you can only use 6,8,9 and 0.

There are a few different options for having a message at night with the option to either be diverted to another number or leave a message so it would be best to discuss this with the system maintainer.

Kind Regards

Fiona

BT Business Forum Moderator
