For Wordpress and other database-driven applications, you will need to have the Professional web hosting package:

BT Web hosting

You can re-grade to this quite easily by logging into the "My Services" section of: https://myoffice.bt.com

I have an Website designer and SEO expert from India working on my website. I have gave him my login details but he cannot access through the admin panel. He says that BT is blocking users from outside the UK. Is there any way I can get him access ??

And yes I do trust him as he has done some excellent work for a friend of mine.

Thanks, Iain
