Renew .eu domains

The manage domains portal does not seem to work as expected for .eu domains. It is not possible to switch auto-renewal for .eu domains on or off, and a manual renewal process fails with an error message after card details have been received and processed.

Does anyone know how to pay for renewal of an .eu domain?

No idea yet on top of my head but have you tried calling Customer Service and check your options yet?

Hi,

You can ask help from the customer care services of domain providing company/hosting company via mail. they will resolve the issue for sure.

Hi Withitpenguin,

.Eu domains can only be renewed via the auto-renew facility.

Please note that the domain will need to be set to "auto renew" more than 30 days before expiry.

To set this up, please log into the domain console and if auto renew is off, switch it back on and enter your credit/debit card details.

If expiry is less than 30 days away, please send us an enquiry via www.dnsforms.co.uk.

Thank you for this reply. Unfortuately I cannot do what you suggest, as the auto renew switch appears to be grayed out on the portal.

Hi Withitpenguin,

If the box is greyed out then that usually means the domain expres within 30 days and cannot be auto-renewed.

In this case we would need to escalate this to our domain registrar who will be able to place the domain in a queue for renewal which should then renew on the expiry date.

In this case if you have not alreadfy done so please fill out a dns enquiry form at www.dnsforms.co.uk.
