Having a PHPBB

Hi There,

I have just purchased a new domain name (I already have a domain name and hosting package, I just purchased the domain name as an add on) and I want to point that name (http://jaysgrandadventure.org.uk) to a PHPBB.

I am in the process of downloading the PHPBB source files, but I do nto see anway of having the new domain name (http://jaysgrandadventure.org.uk) point to my PHPBB.

Can someone please tell me how to do this? Do I need 2 seperate hosting accounts, or can I just do it with the one. As I get unlimited storage and unlimited bandwith, I assumed I would be able to do it with just the one hosting account, but now I am not so sure.

You have to DNS entry your domani name (http://jaysgrandadventure.org.uk). Also make sure that you cna ping your domain (http://jaysgrandadventure.org.uk).

Not to seem dumb or anything, but how would I do that. I had just assumed that when I purchased it from BT it would have already been done. As I am starting up a online-mag, pretty much from scratch, I cant really afford to pay people to set everything up so I am having to do it myself (my area of expertise is design not setting up domains and so on).

Is it possible that you could explain how to do the things you said. Namely "You have to DNS entry your domani name (http://jaysgrandadventure.org.uk). Also make sure that you cna ping your domain (http://jaysgrandadventure.org.uk)."
