How long for activation?

I signed up for a domain and website hosting 2 days ago and paid for a year in advance.

A message said it would take 30 min for activation.

2 days later, when trying to manage my new site, the message is still 'Awaiting activation'.

Is this usual or is there a problem?

I'm not really sure but I think it's case to case basis. Perhaps 3-5 business days or 7-10 perhaps.

Shouldn't take more than 72 hours from activation request - that's the usual for the majority of ISP's/hosters.
