Hello Mr. Timms:

We uploaded the Website Pages on FTP and according to last email, we have enabled the Service of ASP.NET from the Server Control panel.

While we enabled the Service of ASP.NET, system gives this message :

"This Service is currently Queued...Activation may take up to 1 business day to be completed."

One more thing, related to Database, we use Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Database as back-end. And we didn't find the MS SQL Server database in Hosting Control panel.

We found only MySQL database, that is no longer used by us. So kindly mail to BT hosting about avability of MS SQL Server 2005 Database with remote connection. So we can easily upload our Local Database schema to Server Database. Regards,

Hello Mr. Timms:

We are able to access the server.

But as we have developed the project in ASP.NET as Front-End and MS SQL Server Database as Back-end. For that, generally "WINDOWS BASED SERVER" is required. That can have MSSQL Database support as well ASP.NET Support. The BT server seems to be on LINUX. In that, we are not able access the MS SQL Database, it supports only MySQL Database.

Kindly forward this mail to the concerned person in BT and let us know of any altenrative.

Hi dt1mm5,

In order to activate Asp.net please upload the website files to your webspace first.

Once done if you log into the BT Website Centre via your account.

Under Site Builders, click the "windows services" option on the left had side, from here you can then activate ASP.net.

Hi dtimm5,

I believe we run a Linux / windows hybrid server.

However if you require an MS database as used by Microsoft Access, we can set this up, however we need to raise a requets to the guys who manage the servers, if this is required contact 0845 600 7020 and we should be able to arrange this.
