Hiya,

I'm trying to use the domain manager to temporarily forward our primary domain at a page we have built using BTs free webspace but am unable to do it.

When I use the Basic domain manager, and enter the forwarding address I get a red error message telling me that there is already a www record for this domain and therefore the process cannot be completed. I then go into the advanced domain manager, and there is a www record there, but it is greyed out so I cannot edit or delete it.

The domain is www.parkwoodconstruction.co.uk and the free webspace is home.btconnect.com/parkwoodconstruction/

Any help much appreciated as we'd like to get this holding page in place as soon as possible

Cheers!

Ceri

Hi Ceri,

The www record should not have been greyed out, unless you had a hosting pack, although we could sort this out for you 🙂

Looking at the website, it looks as though you've sorted this out?

Please feel free to PM me if you need any further assistance.

Thanks,

Steve

Hi Steve,

That's what I thought, but it was definitely greyed out. All sorted now anyway. I put a forwarding request in to the domain team, and they did it for me.

Thanks for coming back to me.

Ceri
