How do I captuere email bounces

I'm working on a script that sends email to subscribers who have opted in. Each email will include an unsubscribe option which will automatically pull people out of my MySql database. However, how do I capture the bounces?

Can I write a script that will add bounced emails to an MySQL table?

Is the bounce list available in Cpanel or somewhere else?

Any help will be appreciated.

How to pipe an email to a PHP script is a good place to start with the basics. This will move emails into text files, after that you can use regex or other string commands to filter and extract the information you want.
