Infected website

Staff have 10 websites on my dedicated, and always have problems editing content with virus.

example:
today added to my index.php, several malicious codes.
, and then removed after 5 minutes the code returned.

Would like to know how to identify who is doing this and in what form, because I can not stand these problems.

This happened to several websites.

WHO did it: almost imposibble to discover because of proxy servers

HOW they did it: can be either..

a: Your PC is infected with a virus, trojan or other exploit (Most Likely reason)

b: Your code is vulnerable to an SQL injection attack (WordPress sites are common targets)

c: Your FTP password is weak and been cracked (always change it regulary)

so true.. especially when it comes to web hosting providers

Web hosts for instance are not responsible for the security of your site, they just rent you the space. What you do and how you look after it is your problem.
