hi,

Here is one heck of a hard situation I am in and I need some good ol' advice from other programmers, web developers, and people in general... so here is what is going on

I have been working on and coding my own CMS/Blog system in Perl and SQL because I know perl very well and how it works. I trust in my skill level and such to do this sucessfully as possible. Yet, I am used to the legendary WordPress at the same time -- minus some good themes.

Thanks to WordPress.com's free blogs, I found the theme I have been looking for like... ages! I am wanting to go back to wordpress dramaticly to stop my fail coding project and just worry about posting more articles about security, computers, and my rants about life.

As for my own project, I have the basis of article posting, pages, and that is it with a simple AdminCP. I lackl the main features of comments, RSS, and anything else a blog NEEDs.

Any advice ?
