prestashop migration Can't connect to local MySQL

I had prestashop on localhost maschine, now I am trying to transfer all to BT website center. Set everything up for upload. Seems everything done good, database created, user created, imported data to new database, changed settings in prestashop settings.inc.php file and now I get - Link to database cannot be established: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2)

What did I miss?

Thanks for attention.

If I change localhost to 127.0.0.1 then I get error: Link to database cannot be established: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2013] Lost connection to MySQL server at 'reading initial communication packet', system error: 111

So this is bad solution or should I check now for second error? Which way should I choose? 🙂
