Smart Hosting - Still "Pending Verification"

I put in a request to my current provider of the domain "www.mydomain.com" to change the A record to the one provided by my BT hosting package so that I could host the site using BT hosting using that domain name and the request has still yet to take place. I put the request in on 29th November and it is now the 2nd December and it still says Pending Verification.

When is it likely that I will be able to start hosting my site?

I have edited your post to keep your info anonymous, in regards to the A record change you can check your A record IP by pinging it.

Go to www.ping.eu

click ping

then type in your domain

your result should look like this

--- PING mydomain.com (123.12.123.45) 56(84) bytes of data. ---
64 bytes from 123.12.123.45: icmp_seq=1 ttl=53 time=23.6 ms
64 bytes from 123.12.123.45: icmp_seq=2 ttl=53 time=23.3 ms
64 bytes from 123.12.123.45: icmp_seq=3 ttl=53 time=23.3 ms
64 bytes from 123.12.123.45: icmp_seq=4 ttl=53 time=23.5 ms

The IP address (in this example 123.12.123.45) will be your current A record

Once this has been changed to BT go to www.myoffice.bt.com and sign in to the Manage Services section and verify that domain.
