BT Domains Centre broken ?

I need to transfer a domain away from my btinternet hosting. Following the BT instructions I logged in and then went to...

http://secure.business.bt.com/ManageService/Dashboard.aspx

...then in the Domains section I clicked 'Transfer a domain to BT' as instructed. This took me to...

http://www.btdomainmanager.com/login.aspx

... and after a few seconds the message "Error: Domain name management is momentarily unavailable. Please try again. If you see this message repeatedly, please contact support."

This 'momentary unavailability' has been happening since last week. I have tried in Firefox and also Chromium, but always get the same error.

Can someone from BT please advise why this seemiongly essential function is not working ?

Bumping this 'thread' - is there anyone from BT here please ? This facility is still "momentarily unavailable."

Or, could some kind soul just try this for me to see if its something my end ? Just log into your https://secure.business.bt.com/ManageService/Dashboard.aspx then in Domain, select 'transfer a domain name to BT'. Does it work for you ?

Need to do this transfer - maybe I have to get Nominet to do it ? GB

Hi Ian, Thanks for responding. I cant raise a support request as you suggest as it asks for my WM account number and this is not related to an account, but a fault on your website ? I have already provided all the symptoms and directions to replicate the bug, could you possibly take it from there for me please ? GB.

Hi Ian,

Thanks for that. The domain is homesteadhouse.co.uk, but I can't get to the point where I would select it, whenever I access the 'Domains Centre' I always get the error message. (I am logged in at this point of course and for the record I'm able to perform other tasks such as email settings etc).

Whois correctly shows the registrant as my mother-in-law June Wainwright, who provided me with the account login and has asked me to move the domain for her as she has no idea about technical issues. (I am creating a new website for her)

Grateful for your advice (might it be advisible to continue this in PMs ?)

I cant access it either

Constantly says

Error: Domain name management is momentarily unavailable

my domain is spotlites.co.uk

ps Ive tried it in firefox, IE and Chrome browsers using win 7 Pro - fully updated

I have been told that I must delete file ibmr.btconnect.com but I am getting the same Domain name management is momentarily unavailable - I have spent hours trying to access it including changing browsers.

Please help - I need to get back to work.
