    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi, &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have just setup a new Database and User.. &amp;nbsp;I can connect to it and admin it via PHPAdmin, &amp;nbsp;but &amp;nbsp;when I run a script from one of my PHP pages to look for the Database information, &amp;nbsp;I get the following error.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Could not connect: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (13)&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Some software I am trying to install has a script to validate MYSQL is installed on the hosting before it will allow me to install it, &amp;nbsp; but it shows that no MYSQL is available.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I can set it up on another non BT hosting I have no problem..&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It's almost like the Webhosting isnt seeing the MYSQL server link..&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any help will be much appreciated.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Many thanks in advance.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
