Changing A Record/IP Address

I will try to keep it brief.

I have a website - hosted by Shopify

Domain names are with - BT ( I have no other accounts or services with BT - only provide me with domain/email.

Recently received email from Shopify asking me to contact the third party (BT) and instruct them to change the

A Record IP Address to - IP 23.227.38.32

If anyone from BT reads this...and they know what they are doing...can they do it?!!!

I have looked at doing it myself, but when I go into the DNS it is not really clear which IP I need to change. more than one A Record and more than one IP ?

It would be amazing if this could get sorted without any hassle...as BT and I are not the best of friends!

Hi Onethirdbird,

The A records you need to change are for www and @.

If these are greyed out you need to use the A record repoint form at www.dnsforms.co.uk to request the update.
