Hi,

We have a BT Versatility with Broadband module. The system was originally setup to use our exisiting BT Business Hub as the source of the broadband connection, and Originally was running 2 external Ip phones with no trouble. Recently however both iP phones started suffering almost identical drop outs after 9 seconds of a connected call. Our BT BUsiness Broadband is Only 1.7MB, so not great which originally I thought might be causing the issue... but if this was the case sureely the phones would have suffered this issue from the get go?

Non the less, we have now also installed a Satelite Bradband Service due to our rural location which has left out BT BUsiness Broadband "empty" of traffic. I have decided to start from scratch and try and get these phones working properly on thier own dedicated Broadband connection.

Rather than use the BT Business HUB.. which frankly is a rubbish bit of kit.. I am hoping to use the Broadband modules built in Modem. I have connected the ADSL Cable, through a filter to the Module and our line. However the Module wont connect?

I am sure the settings are right as I have copied them directly from the BT BUsiness Hub but no matter what happens the system simply wont connect. I have ven entered all the settings for DNS Servers etc manually based on those reported on the Bt Business Hub (Which Connects Fine) and the Broadband modules stil ldoesent connect.

The status page seems to constanlty report the modules is "Handshaking" and nothing else?

Any help or suggestions appreciated.. am I looking at a faulty Module?

Cheers,
