Dear all.

I've had to replace my verstility V8 system with a reconditioned system due to a fault however the replacement doesn't quite do what the old one did and I'm struggling to programme it so it does. I have 2 separate numbers coming into the system using isdn lines. Access group 1 use one number and rings one ring group and access groups 2,3 & 4 use the other number and ring a different ring group. I used to have access group one ring for about 2 rings (I remember being able to choose the number of seconds it rang for) but if it was unanswered within the set time, the call would divert and ring evry phone in the other ring group. I can easily set the system to ring one chosen extension after 4 rings but don't know how to get it to ring all the phones together in the other group. Can anyone enlighten me please?

Thanks

Jed

You should be able to set up a group divert, if you choose divert on no answer to another ring group, that should solve your problem.

Thanks for the reply however I only seem to be able to choose a divert to one extension and not an alternative group. All the manuals seem to infer this too

Have you tried diverting to a destination number and insert the group ext number? eg group 1 is extn 180, 2 is 181 etc
