bt versatility FSK caller ID ?? & PSTN Trunk to Trunk

Hi all,

I have just connected a gsm gateway to a pstn trunk on my system and I have no caller ID info showing on the phones.

After looking at the specs for the gsm gateway I noticed that it uses FSK for caller ID. Does the BT Versatility support this or will it only show DTMF caller id information?

Normal PSTN line showes Caller ID fine!

Also I have tried to find info on pstn trunk to trunk with this guarded clear common problem. I can get the system to do the trunk to trunk divert I want but it wont release the line after the call is finished.

Do I need to contact BT and ask them to set my line as guarded clear with a 500ms (Disscount Clear Time)??

If this cant be done on pstn lines please could someone let me know so I can giveup and get a new system.

Yes, it would be better to contact BT support directly and ask them about it. I also have problems with setting up caller ID. I will call them about it soon.
