We have a BT Versatility system with 3 Featurephones. I am trying to connect a VeriFone EPOS terminal to the same socket as a Versatility featurephone. This configuration has worked in the past but when I connect via a two way adaptor the phone display does not work.

I can connect either device independantly to the socket and they will work. I have tried the Versatilty website, all the operation and user manuals to no avail and rung the versatility help line but I could not really understand the Asian gentleman who was on the helpless.

This should really be a very simple problem but I cannot seem to find a solution. Any help would be appreciated.
