    <description>&lt;P&gt;We have used BT lines and equipment for 30 years or so (apart from an extremely unsuccessful experiment with TalkTalk) and generally we have been reasonably satisfied.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Something seems to have happened at BT recently however - a great change for the worse.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;The service is nothing like as good as it used to be - in fact the frustration in&amp;nbsp;trying get problems fixed is enormous.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;That we are not the only ones is clear from these forums.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I suspect that&amp;nbsp;BT have cut their support staff and contracted out a lot to call centres abroad.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It would be lovely to be able to move easily to another provider. Unfortunately it isn't easy and BT know this.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
