Phone and fax on same line

Hello,

I set up my business earlier this year and had one phone line installed. This line handles both phonecalls and faxes - what happens is if I answer the phone and it is a fax coming through I have to pull the telephone line out and insert the fax cable - clearly it's not satisfactory and it was only ever meant to be a temporary measure. Anyway I am wondering if it is possible to have both phone and fax on the same line and using the same number? I would be keen to try and keep the number (same for phone and fax) as it is on my business cards etc. I'm not sure if this requires a new line fee and new line rental fee. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi,

Of course you can. Easiest way is to add an adapter to your BT socket, so you can plug phone and fax in at the same time. You can get them off e bay for a couple of £.
