Deleting multiple emails

This may be a dumb question but is there an easy way of deleting read emails from the webaccess WITHOUT having to tick each checkbox in turn. Surely there's an easy way of selecting multiple emails, but I can't seem to find out how.

Any help gratefully received.

After spending many hours on this problem, I gave up and right clicked each folder and emptied it, crossing my fingers I won't need something one day.

Hi Creativeglassuk

Here is how to select multiple emails at a time

Click on the first email you want to select
press and hold shift
click on the last email you want to select (you can also press the down key while holding shift)
all of these emails willl now be selected
