Good morning everyone,

I have recently bought a new laptop and set up a business broadband service as I am setting up a small business from home. I am going to need frequent access to email and contacts and as I also bought Outlook 2010 as part of the Office package.

Having installed Office, I clicked on Outlook. The yellow box appeared for about 30 seconds before an error message appeared which reads:

"the connection to microsoft exchange is unavailable.outlook must be online or connected to complete this action"

I cannot click on any other part of the screen aside from "ok". When I do that, Office shuts down.

I have never used Outlook before and haven't a clue what to do. I was hoping that I would quickly be able to add my new btconnect email address and everything would work as well as BT (and the man who sold me Outlook) promised.

Can anyone help?

Many thanks....
