BT outsource to Yahoo

Is it correct that Yahoo run email for BT?

My host says ...

"All ISPs get served the same records; Yahoo either can't or won't use them correctly.

Yes; this is a huge issue and so far no Yahoo/BT will not address it with us."

It says they are not correctly dealing with the MX records whcih is why email from BT/Yahoo customers isn't reaching me.

They say that they have raised this with BT many times ...

Hi,

Just to clarify, Yahoo run the residential BT email platform. Business is run by BT, but is currently moving over to the Office 365 platform by Microsoft.

OK; so people who have domestic BT accounts will have this problem sending me, and everyone else, emails 😞

The tie up with Yahoo happened many years back and is not recent.

My family all have @btconnect.com email addresses becasue of thhe Yahoo tie up.
