I have been using Windows Mail for my emails for years now with my btconnect.com account. Received an email on 05/06/12 advising of future changes. I have not been able to connect to my email account from 06/06/12. I have tried to follow the upgrade instructions by going to the email upgrade centre as instructed. Given 1 task to complete "Confirm login email addresses". New screen comes up with "There was an error while getting aliasses" in red. No other alternative route but to close. I need to access my email. Please advise

Problem solved. Email settings had, of its own volition, ticked the authentication required box. Unchecked and everything OK

Hi there. I am using MS Outlook which might have the same function as Windows Live Mail. Anyway, I also got this problem and was thinking if you had yours fixed via BT or via Windows Live Mail client?
