I understand that I would need to change our DNS records to forward emails to the Office 365 system.

Question 1 - how to I register our domain name on the BT system?

Without being asked, BT created a long unwanted domain name for us. We had the fee refunded and that unused domain is set to expire. While I log into the account with an @btconnect.com address, the system shows info@thelongandunwanteddomainname.co.uk as the account email address and it is also the primary email address in the manage emails section.

Question 2 - how do I get that removed / changed?

This is for a charity, so funds are tight, I plan to use a mix of the full office 365 accounts and the free office 365 email lite accounts. I like the idea of using sharepoint as an mini intranet.

Question 3 - Can I grant access to the Office 365 email lite users to access the sharepoint content?

Question 4 - How would the Office 365 email lite users access sharepoint?

and finally

Question 5 - how do you order the full office 365 accounts? - I could not see an on-line option.

Thanks

Multiple questions will definitely be answered if you will contact BT directly. Just a suggestion.
