topic btconnect - upgrade from lite in Archive

So office 365 has just been rolled out for me, and I want to upgrade my account to a premium account to get exchange access instead of pop3, but I’m not the administrator of the emails (it’s a small company and the boss handles everything like that). Is there a way for the administrator to upgrade me without having to upgrade himself or anyone else, as i doubt that they will use the extra functionality associated with exchange

The reason I ask here is that for him to consider upgrading me I will have to know the details before going to speak with him. Is it just an option on his dashboard? Also how much will it cost.

If this isn’t possible is there a away for me to create my own bt account and take my e-mail address with me. Again how much will this cost?

It will only be possible if you have the administrator access or if you are the one who has it.

He does, so how does he do it? I’ve had a look and brought 1 licence but can’t see how to then apply it to my mail box. Is there a how to online to get it done?

When I’m logged on under his user name I can see my e-mail account view the licence as a lite account but there is no upgrade option.

Hi Loesch,

Is your address a btconnect.com address? If so the premium cannoty be applied to this, it would need to be a domain name i.e. something@yourcompany.com

Steve
