I have a load of inactive accounts which have built up from staff who have left my employment over the last few years. I appreciate that they do not count towards my number of active users but I really would like to delete them from my email summary screen

These accounts have not been used for years and I know that there are no security issues with them

I have been to the Manage Services screen, I can select the accounts in question but the choices I am offered end with De-active Mailbox and there is no option to delete it

I should be grateful if anyone can help

Thanks

Hi,

Unfortunately there's no way of removing them from your side. As far as I'm aware they will in theory drop off your account at some stage, but I don't know if that still happens and how long it is before it does.

I did check if they get moved across during migration to Office 365 and they do, so even that won't get rid of them.

I'll make some enquiries though to see if there are any ways of doing what you're looking for. I wouldn't hold out too much hope though.

Hi,

Quick update. Afraid not. You're stuck with them.

Sorry about that.
