As long as the email addresses have been actively used - logging in to webmail and/or the self-care pages - then there's no reason you shouldn't be able to log in to the self-care pages to reset the password. What happens if you try the forgotten password journey on the administrator account?

Adrian

I currently have a btconnect.com email address. It was set up for me years ago, when my father had internet provided by BT.

I have been using it for years for both work and personal emails.

I am just setting up a new computer and am having trouble with the password for my email account. It doesn't appear to be what i thought it was!

I have tried to reset it and it has sent info for this to my fathers email address (he was the administrator) but i have just found out he no longer has a BT subscription.

He has given me his email address and password, but we can't access his account to reset my password!

Is there any way around this?

Thanks.
