I use outlook on my pc for e-mail and am on btconnect using 365.

I recently started accessing my e-mails on a laptop (using livemail). i did not mind the nuisance of receiiving every email twice (once on each device) and the fact that an em sent from one device was not visible from the other.

However, i have now started accessing my emails on an iphone & on ipad. This multiplies the matter considerably.

It seems that i could upgrade to exchange for c.£5 per month and that this would give me an identical view of my e-mails from all devices. Is this correct.

If so, it would be worth it. I am however apprehensive about all my e-mails being based on a remote server & not stored on my own hard drive. If i upgrade to exchange is there an easy way of taking a periodic copy of my e-mails to my hard drive?

Also, would i still access them via outlook?

Thanks for any guidance/information.

John
