topic keeping emails on BT server in Archive

Hi. I hope someone can help. I use Outlook for emails and in the past the BT Yahoo website has always kept a copy. Last week I had a glitch when I couldn't receive emails in Outlook although I could send them; I fiddled around and eventually emails started coming through again (I'm not sure what I did!).

Now instead of keeping a copy on the BT Yahoo site, it's delivering 2 copies of every email to Outlook. Can anyone suggest anything please? Thanks.

As for two copies, no idea.

To keep a copy on the server there is a setting in the account profile. You can choose to remove immediately, after a defined period, 1,2,4 hours, days or never.
