sub-domain & Emails

hi,
I'm trying to get emails working from a sub-domain but I can't seem to get it working and I'm not sure why or how to debug?
I'm using Thunderbird,

I like to use third level domain of my own domain name instead of the left part of "@" for email.

I use the catchall functionality with sub-domain of my domain name

.........@sub1.mydomainname.tld

For example

<anythinghere>@sub1.mydomainname.tld

<anythinghere>@sub2.mydomainname.tld

It requires a mail hosting that allow multi-domain name registration. Personally I registered my own domain fromfreedns.afraid.organd mail hosting withwww.servermx.comwhich allow all sub domains I need. But you can choose your favorite provider
