Hi Pinkhost123

Can you double check you are also using these settings for the outgoing server ?

Server - smtp.outlook.com

port – 587

connection type – tls

make sure the outgoing server requires authentication and authenticate with the same details as the incoming server

If so c an you see if you are using a HUB3 ? That's a black router with blue lights

If that is the case please set the DNS

You can do this by clicking on the airport (wireless) icon in the top right corner then going to preferences and then DNS
click the plus button and then add what ever servers you want to use.

I tend to stick with googles

8.8.8.8

and

8.8.4.4

Once you have saved this shut down your mail client and then reopen that.

If this does not work I suggest you contact us

I hope this helps

My Ipad works fine on the same router so cannot understand why it will not send. I have even downloaded outlook for mac but get the same problem will connect for pop incoming only

I have also tried pod51017.outlook.com from the options space within webmail still to no avail...
