Email from ipad problem

Cannot send emails from ipad. Receiving OK and Hotmail account works fine. BT account messages go straight to outbox. No folders available. I am a naive OAP. HELP

since changing over to BT Mail from Yahoo I have been unable to reply or send emails from my IPAd. I had the same problem on my IPHONE but this was resolved by resetting my email accound with wifi turned off and by only using 3G. My Ipad does not have 3G on wifi. What must I do?

Hi michaelcollyer,

When you are having a problem with the email on your Ipad, is it for an @btinternet.com email address, an @btconnect.com email address or a domain name email address?

From what you has said about Yahoo and BT mail, I am guesing it is an @btinternet.com email address, as this is this is the business forum we would not be able to advise on how to get this to work on your Ipad, but you could try posting on the home/residential forum which you can find here.
