Hi!

We have recently installed a new server running SBS 2011 and would like to make the most of its features.

I have set up pop3 receive connectors for our email and our exchange server is pulling down and distributing our email successfully.

While setting up a smart host connection to BT, the only user that is able to send emails is the user whos details I have used in the SMTP settings.

I have tried using our primary BT email address and password but this doesn't seem to help, I have also tried using smtp.outlook.com and smtp.office365.com

The reply that I receive is -

pod51007.outlook.com #550 5.7.1 Client does not have permissions to send as this sender ##

Is there a main BT account and password we should be using to authorise each email user?

Many Thanks
