I have just converted from Home Broadband (BTHomeHub) to Business Broadband, because I needed a static IP for business. I want to keep my Home VOIP Tel number as I have been using it for business and changing it is a pain.

BT said I could use the 2700HGV to accomplish this, and set the configuration up for me, BUT the line gets cut off after approx 8 minutes (always the same amount of time as per the log on the Router - 481 seconds). BT have not been very helpful in resolving this.

Any ideas, or should I just take out a BT Business VOIP line?

Thanks
