Not sure if I'm posting this in the correct place....

I currently have a domestic landline to my house that I use partly to receive incoming calls for my business. I have now taken on an office out of the area code that I live in. What I want to do is take 'ownership' of my current number so that I can use it via a VOIP connection in my office and then have a new domestic number for my house.

Does that make sense and is it possible?

Thanks.

Makes sense, but I am guessing that you would have to change the residential line to a business one first. After that, it's relatively straightforward to port the number to a VoIP service.

Adrian
