Could you advise your computer specifications as the hardware may be the cause of the slowness.

Chris

Generally speaking because of how Vista is, you really need more than a Gig of Ram for it to run effectively. My partner has a laptop at home and he is running it on 512mb of Ram, and the speed is absolutely shocking.... Unfortunately other than upgrading the Ram there is not a lot you can do.

To check the Ram right click on my computer and at the bottom of the general tab it will display the amount you have.

You will be able to pick up ram fairly cheap now adays, usually about £30 for a gb of ram and you can fit it into or get it fitted into your laptop fairly easily.

Thanks
