Hi homeelectrical,

The VoIP service that you have, do you connect normal phones to a 2wire adapter in to the back of the 2701?

If you do then you are only able to use the 2701 hub/router as the newer hubs are not compatible. If however your phones are VoIP phones and connect into the hub/router via etherner and the configuration is in the phone and not the hub/router then you can upgrade your hub/router to the business hub 5.

I hope this helps.

Is there a modern replacement for this router. I use BT voip service so the replacement will need to have a voip service on it. The existing one is becoming a bit problemetic and 4 years old.

Thanks
